IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please review the information below carefully before submitting your application.

APPLICATION & SELECTION

• Application Fee: $50

• The application fee is non-refundable and required at the time of application.

• The $50 Application Fee applies to applications submitted during the current calendar year only.

• Applicants who are not selected may be considered for another departure within the same calendar year. A new application and application fee may be required in a subsequent calendar year.

• Each departure is limited to five participants. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.

• In addition to the five selected participants, three to five alternates may be chosen. Alternates may be contacted if a selected participant declines their invitation or becomes unable to participate.

ORGANIZER FEE & PAYMENT

• The Organizer Fee is not due at the time of application.

• Payment plans are available.

• If selected, you will receive a Trip Guide and Acknowledgement & Agreement Form containing the complete trip details, policies, expectations, payment schedule, cancellation terms, and refund information.

• Selection does not obligate you to participate. You will have 72 hours from the time these documents are sent to review everything and decide whether you would like to join the trip.

• Cocktail Lounge Jewelry Show & Tell

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

• Airfare

• Accommodations

• Meals

• Local transportation

• Sightseeing or activities not specifically included in the itinerary

• Travel insurance

• Personal jewelry purchases or sourcing inventory

• Customs duties or tariffs

• Shipping costs

• Other personal expenses

PHYSICAL PACE & MOBILITY

I cannot stress enough how important it is to consider the requirements below carefully when deciding whether to apply. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding experience, and you need to be comfortable with both the pace and the environment.

• The itinerary involves extensive walking, use of public transportation, crowded markets, stair climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, and full days of activity.

• London and its markets can involve large crowds, noise, constant activity, and a high level of sensory stimulation. You should be comfortable navigating busy and sometimes hectic environments.

• Elevators and escalators are rarely available. You should expect to use stairs in Underground stations, markets, shops, accommodations, and other locations.

• You are responsible for handling and carrying your own luggage, shopping bags, and purchases throughout the trip. Bags can become heavy during full sourcing and shopping days.

• The group must maintain the planned pace and schedule and cannot slow down or alter the itinerary to accommodate individual walking speeds, mobility needs, or fatigue.

• Participants who fall behind or need additional time must be prepared to use a taxi or rideshare service at their own expense to rejoin the group at the next destination.

• If a participant is unable to maintain the group’s pace and refuses to use a taxi or rideshare when necessary, they may be removed from the trip in accordance with the terms and policies outlined in the Trip Guide and Acknowledgement & Agreement Form.

Please carefully and realistically consider your ability to manage these conditions before applying. The pace and physical demands are an essential part of this experience.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment in the event of illness, emergency, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances.

ABOUT THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The purpose of this application is to create the best possible experience for everyone by ensuring a good fit for the itinerary, pace, and group dynamic.

Not every applicant will be selected for every departure. Selection is based on the needs and composition of each particular trip.
